Oil Pit Squid
Oil pit squids are similar to normal squid. Except one difference. They live in oil pits! The first recorded sighting was in 1996, when oil workers saw tiny squid like creatures swimming in the oil pit. The oil pit was drained and people took specimens of the creatures. They were as big as a human hand. But before further research could be done the specimens were lost. The chemicals should kill any thing living in the oil pits, so how did these creatures survive?
