Most people think cryptid hunters are just a bunch of nuts. But here to articles that might say cryptozoologists are not crazy people. A animal that was known only in tales of natives was proven real. Nobody believed the natives when they said that there was raccoon like animals swinging though the trees at night but now DNA tests and capturing one alive has proven there existence. that's one reason that you should believe in cryptids. A story just made it to the news that the government has finally admitted that area 51 exists. but they didn't mention UFOs or aliens. But if they were hiding extraterrestrial life in area 51 then probably they would not tell us even when they say it exists.
